I had the honor with a sit down with the CEO of MPN also known as Merciless Pros Network:
JMAZZ “What made you think of MPN?”
Evolution “MPN was a branch off a community that I was a leader in. In 2010 I wanted to start my own community because I knew the potential we had to work with and members in the community I was in before that was not appreciating the work we were all putting in. Once we branched off I put together a team immediately and we got to work with the name, and same website you see here today…all the way back from 2010.”
JMAZZ “What does MPN mean to you?”
Evolution “MPN will always be special to me. It was my original and very first creation which I’ve stuck with for years. The people I’ve met and gotten to know along the way adds to that importance. When I came back this year to start a community back up I knew it could only be using the MPN name.”
JMAZZ “As a gamer what can a community like MPN give you?”
Evolution “My favorite part about gaming communities is the opportunities that it gives you to develop both as a gamer and as a person. I love being able to make people better gamers, but also becoming leaders and being able to learn/develop specific traits within themselves they maybe didn’t know they had. I was very shy in public and online, but now I am a Creator of a successful gaming community and have seen success in my personal career where I talk in front of groups multiple times a month. Everybody can develop themselves each and every day, so I appreciate the fact they are willing to give MPN the chance to help them along their success path.”
JMAZZ “Where do you see in MPN in the next 6 months?”
Evolution “There are multiple directions I want to go with this community. I want this to grow to member counts that we have never been able to reach, but I also want to be able to get involved with competitive gaming and sponsor a pro team within the next 6 months to a year.”
JMAZZ “As a community leader what do you see is the most important thing about running a community?”
Evolution “The single most important aspect to running a community is making sure that every member feels appreciated for the work they put in. Every member has their own importance and value to MPN in their own ways. I’ve seen leaders in other communities forget this and as a result pushes members away.
10% of people remember what you did, 10% remember what you say, but 100% of members will remember how you made them feel. I want to make sure every member in MPN feels valued and knows they matter to all of the leadership in our community.”
I want to thank MPN Evolution for taking time out of his busy schedule, and to sit down with me on a little interview. I can’t wait to see what MPN has in store for the future with this kind of leadership!
